Titanium’s high corrosion resistance is also a valuable characteristic; as when exposed to the atmosphere, Titanium Grade 5 Eye Bolts forms a tight, tenacious oxide film that resists many corrosive materials, particularly salt water. Titanium Grade 5 Eye Nuts is produced by primary melting using vacuum arc (VAR), electron beam (EB), or plasma arc hearth melting (PAM). Titanium Grade 5 T-Bolts is often used with the goal to get really close to the final dimensions of the part being made. Its usability lies in its many benefits, where Titanium Grade 5 T-Nuts may be heat treated to increase its strength.
