Excellent cold forming characteristics typically associated with the nickel – chromium alloys are exhibited with Incoloy 800 Round Bars. The carbon range of 0.05 % to 0.10 % is within the ASTM and ASME specification limits for Incoloy 800H Square Bars and is in the upper portion of that range. Incoloy 800HT Flat Bars is used for process piping, heat exchangers, heating – element sheathing, carburizing equipment, and nuclear steam – generator tubing. Incoloy 800 Threaded Bars remains ductile during long term use at temperatures below 1290 Degree F (700 Degree C) due to a maximum titanium and aluminum content of 0.7 %. Alloy 800H Hollow Bars is a solution heat treated (2100 Degree F), controlled-carbon version of Alloy 800 Hexagonal Bars with improved elevated temperature properties. Incoloy 800HT Triangular Bars is an alloy of nickel, chromium and iron, which is capable of remaining stable and maintaining its austenitic structure even after long time exposures to high temperatures While Incoloy 800 Bars is generally used at temperatures below 600 Degree C, Incoloy 800HT Rods are recommended for applications requiring superior creep properties at higher temperatures. Incoloy 800H Round Bars can be welded by the common techniques used on stainless steels.
